I’ve been sitting here for a while, staring at the computer screen, trying to think of a Monday song that’s speaking to me this week. Problem is… there’s only silence. Since it’s been a while since I updated anyone, let’s do that now, shall we?
On the writing front, there’s been no motion with Going in Circles, which is fine. I firmly believe it will go when God is ready. I’m good with that. I have the second book of that series, Rearview Mirror completely revised but in need of a final two chapters. I changed something and can’t quite decide how I want to handle the end with the change. Sacred Surrender is in an editor’s hands! She wrote back, asked for a few changes, and is now considering the book with those revisions. Looking forward to hearing how that goes! The Book That Has Yet to Be Named is finished, 75% revised, and waiting for me to wrap it up. It’ll take a week or so if I can ever get this move to end. And it really needs a name so I can put it up on the website. Help?
On the personal front, we’re settled in our new digs. Finally. After the movers decided to turn our door-to-door move into a three-weeks-in-storage move. That was fun. It was also a big lesson from God. I chose to laugh instead of cry. Hey, you can get mad or you can laugh at conversations like this:
Moving Rep: I’ve got a driver in Rhode Island.
Me: I’m not in Rhode Island. My stuff is not in Rhode Island. We are nowhere near Rhode Island. Is he going to head your way and load up our stuff?
MR: I don’t know.
Me: So what you’re saying is, you don’t know when our stuff is going to get here?
MR: I didn’t say that.
Me: So when is it going to get here?
MR: I dunno.
TA-DA! Best conversation I ever had. I’m a fiction writer and I couldn’t make stuff that good up. 🙂 My daily call to our moving company was great fun. I almost sort of miss it. Almost, but not quite.
So, what’s going on in your life? Hope your summer is fabulous!

How can I help name a book I know nothing about?? If you wanna let me read it, I’d be happy to offer a few suggestions! 🙂

Hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be done. And thanks.
